Mission:

To bring the community together in effort to reduce youth substance abuse and, over time, among adults through coordinated and committed prevention

efforts by all sectors of the community.   

Vision:

To unite families, schools, churches, civic organizations, law enforcement agencies, prevention and treatment agencies, hospitals, community based social service organizations and government agencies in the fight against drugs in the Ottawa area in order to create a safer, healthier and drug-free community.

Goals:

    A.       Reduce youth substance abuse by increasing their              knowledge of drugs and resistance skills to use              when confronted with decisions   about using              alcohol, tobacco and other drugs.

    B.       Increase community drug awareness by providing              levels of communications accessible to all area              residents. 

    C.      Develop and implement programs which will aid in              decreasing those crimes occurring in the community,                  associated with drug usage.
