Wannabpopular is the question members of the IVADC and the Ottawa community have for our youth.  The Illinois Valley Anti Drug Coalition, in conjunction with Ottawa’s Tandem Design created and introduced this campaign which launched in 2007.  This campaign takes information from the Illinois Youth Survey, taken annually by Ottawa area youths, and markets it in a positive manner. 

 

All too often kids get the impression that they must use drugs such as alcohol or marijuana to “fit in” with their peers.  Through the results of the Illinois Youth Survey and with the cooperation of the Ottawa area school system the IVADC was able to partner with Tandem design and produce this campaign.
